€1,799. That is the list price for Oppo's Find X10 Pro Max in Europe, a figure that equals the cost of the latest iPhone 18 Pro Max for a non-foldable Android device.

The phone launched in Europe in late 2026. It is powered by a MediaTek processor. Reviewers who have used the device for several weeks report that it performs well, features excellent cameras, and offers outstanding battery life. However, the price point has generated immediate friction among potential buyers.

The cost of the Find X10 Pro Max sits only €200 below the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, which retails for €1,999 in the region. It is also nearly identical to the price of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, listed at €1,769. Xiaomi is expected to face similar pricing pressures for its next European release. Industry observers attribute this trend to rising hardware costs driven by AI demand, a situation some have termed RAMageddon.

Reaction to the pricing has been immediate. On Reddit, users compared the Find X10 Pro Max directly to the iPhone 18 Pro Max. Many noted that the previous generation Find X9 Ultra remains available for less. Some commenters pointed out that the older model includes more memory and a larger battery in European markets while costing hundreds of euros less than the new flagship. A Find X9 Pro can currently be found in Europe for roughly €1,000.

The reviewer for 9to5Google acknowledged that they would personally choose the Find X9 Ultra at a lower price point. They suggested the Find X9 Pro may be the better deal for many shoppers despite the newer hardware in the X10 line. The consensus among readers is that the older flagship offers more value for money.

Some buyers in the UK have reported using promotional offers to lower the final cost of the new phone. These discounts are not universal across all European markets. The base price remains high relative to competitors in the region.

Oppo has not announced changes to the European pricing strategy. The Find X10 Pro Max is available for purchase now at the full €1,799 tag.
