The price of Soundcore's Space 2 noise-canceling headphones has fallen to its lowest point since launch. As of October 23, the device is listed at $106.49 at Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart. This price represents a $23 reduction from the standard list price. The discount applies to all available color options.

The Space 2 serves as the successor to the Space One, a model that The Verge's John Higgins previously identified as a top-tier budget option in 2023. While the newer unit carries a list price $30 higher than its predecessor, the current sale narrows that gap. The hardware retains the core value proposition of the original while introducing specific technical upgrades.

Active noise cancellation remains a primary feature of the update. The Space 2 improves upon the original by more effectively suppressing low-frequency sounds, such as those generated by train engines or aircraft. Soundcore also implemented design changes intended to produce more accurate audio output compared to the first-generation model.

Several features that defined the Space One's value remain in the new unit. The headphones support high-resolution LDAC audio and integrate with HearID 3.0 software. This tool allows users to calibrate sound profiles by responding to a series of audio samples, adjusting the output to match individual hearing preferences.

Battery performance has increased across both usage modes. With active noise cancellation enabled, the Space 2 operates for up to 50 hours, an increase from the 40-hour limit of the previous model. When noise cancellation is disabled, the runtime extends to 70 hours, up from 55 hours on the earlier version.

The device includes a 3.5mm audio jack, allowing for wired playback if the battery depletes. It also features automatic pause functionality that stops playback when the headphones are removed from the user's head. This allows listeners to resume content from the exact point of interruption. The Verge describes the unit as an easy recommendation, citing the enhanced noise control and audio fidelity. The current $106.49 price point is the lowest recorded for the product, though it remains $30 above the original launch price of the Space One.
