Milwaukee residents are preparing for the Milwaukee Brewers' return to the World Series, a milestone that ended a 44-year drought for the franchise. Marcus Theatres has coordinated a company-wide response to the event, combining live game broadcasts with a retrospective on the team's history in 1982.

The chain will screen two specific films at various locations: "UECK" and "Just a Bit Outside: The Story of the 1982 Milwaukee Brewers." These screenings are part of a wider effort to connect current fans with the city's baseball heritage. Jeff Tomachek, president of Marcus Theatres, noted that the company has waited four decades for this moment. He stated that the goal is to make theaters a gathering place for the community, allowing fans to watch games and revisit historical footage simultaneously.

Financial incentives are central to the promotional package. Participating locations are offering domestic draft beers for $5 and Game Time Lemonades for $9. The menu also includes medium pizzas priced at $10 and a discount that cuts the price of appetizers in half. These deals apply to game-day events at the venues involved in the campaign.

A loyalty program promotion runs through October 31. Members of the Magical Movie Rewards program who see any film before that date will receive a voucher for one free Junior popcorn. This voucher is valid for redemption between November 4 and November 24. Non-members can sign up for the program at no cost prior to their visit to qualify for the offer.

Live games will be available on large screens and digital projectors in the bars and lounges of several Marcus locations. The list of participating sites for game viewing includes Movie Tavern Brookfield, Marcus Majestic Cinema of Brookfield, Marcus Renaissance, Marcus Menomonee Falls, Marcus North Shore Cinema, and Marcus BistroPlex. Fans seeking a dedicated sports bar atmosphere can also visit The Wall at Gurnee Cinema.

The documentary screenings will take place at ten different Marcus locations across the region. These include Marcus Bay Park Cinema in Ashwaubenon, Marcus Green Bay East Cinema in Green Bay, and Marcus Hillside Cinema in Delafield. Other venues hosting the films are Marcus Hollywood Cinema and Marcus Valley Grand Cinema in Appleton, along with Marcus Majestic Cinema of Brookfield, Marcus Menomonee Falls Cinema, Marcus Renaissance Cinema, Marcus Ridge Cinema in New Berlin, Marcus Sheboygan Cinema, and Marcus South Shore Cinema in Oak Creek.

Specific showtimes and ticket availability for these events are listed on the Marcus Theatres website and in its mobile app. The company released this information to the public via a press statement detailing the schedule and participating sites.
