Jennifer Lawrence confronted film crew members who entered a set during a nude scene without prior approval. The actress recounted the incident on the Call Her Daddy podcast, noting that she felt compelled to address the breach immediately to protect the working environment.

Lawrence stated that she "come down hard" on the crew in response to the uninvited presence. She described the event as a defining moment in her career because it clarified her role in establishing boundaries. The actress explained that the issue was one of principle rather than personal discomfort.

She argued that if a veteran actor does not set the standard, the burden falls on younger, unknown performers. Lawrence posited that an 18-year-old new to the industry would face a difficult choice when discovering unapproved onlookers. That performer might risk a reputation for being difficult by speaking up or accept the situation to avoid conflict.

The discussion originated from a question about how Lawrence advocates for herself in the industry. She acknowledged that flexibility is required for the job, citing director Lynne Ramsay’s requests for her to cut her hair and dye it platinum blonde for the film Die My Love. Lawrence said she accepted those changes because "that's the gig," but she emphasized that she speaks up more frequently now due to her standing in the industry.

Lawrence has previously discussed her working conditions on Die My Love, where she stars opposite Robert Pattinson. She told the Las Culturistas podcast that she felt safe with Pattinson, describing him as not "pervy" and focused on his relationship with partner Suki Waterhouse. The actress noted that many male actors may take offense if a woman does not want to sleep with them, a dynamic she did not experience with Pattinson.

Regarding her physical presentation on set, Lawrence said she is not sensitive about nudity and wanted to grant Ramsay total artistic freedom. She recalled being pregnant while working 15-hour days on the production, which reduced her vanity anxiety compared to previous roles like No Hard Feelings. When the team sent her a close-up image of cellulite and asked if they should touch it up, she answered no, stating, "That's an ass."

No further filming dates or project announcements were made during the podcast appearances. Lawrence continued to discuss her career trajectory and her interactions with directors and cast members in subsequent segments of the interviews.
