Listeners of KBOO can access new folk and roots music beginning this Friday morning. The Cascadia Coffeehouse show introduces tracks from artists including Mama's Broke, Lindsay Lou, Bruce Cockburn, and Murphy Campbell. The broadcast also features selections from Ken & Brad Kolodner, Hannah & Nathan, and Mad Uncle Harry.

The program serves as a preview for upcoming live events in the region. The show will mention concerts scheduled for Chris Smither, Emily Scott Robinson, and Peter Rowan & Sam Grisman. Additionally, the broadcast includes favorite songs by David Rawlings, Cahalen Morrison, Pharis & Jason Romero, Dougie MacLean, Low Lily, and Alice Howe.

A segment called the Folk Calendar airs at approximately 6:30 a.m. each weekday. This section details concerts and festivals planned for the area over the next two months. The goal is to inform local audiences about performance dates and venues in the near future.

The daily show runs from 5:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. local time on weekdays. A group of about twelve volunteer programmers from the community selects the music. These individuals curate the content to reflect a variety of folk and roots styles.

Audiences can watch show playlists and listen to previous broadcasts through the station's website or its free mobile application. The program offers on-demand access to past episodes. This format allows listeners to hear the content at times that fit their schedules.

The station encourages the public to share information about the program with friends and neighbors. Listeners can send messages to the show team via the email address cascadiacoffeehouse@gmail.com. The contact method allows the community to provide feedback and support the volunteer effort.
