Apple TV subscribers will gain access to seven new original titles starting next month. The schedule runs from November 4 through November 25. It includes two film premieres, a returning comedy series, and three documentary or reality formats.
The month begins on November 4 with the second season of "Stick." Jason Keller created the sports comedy. Owen Wilson stars as Pryce Cahill, a former professional golfer. Wilson also serves as an executive producer. The character works at a sporting goods store in Indiana after a marriage collapse. He bets his future on Santi, a 17-year-old golf prodigy played by Peter Dager. Wilson and Dager have known each other since childhood.
On November 6, the docuseries "Awkwafina: The Unlikely Cook" premieres. The series follows Nora Lum, known professionally as Awkwafina. She comes from a family of restaurateurs but cannot cook. Lum travels on a culinary road trip to learn the craft. Her goal is to revive her family's Chinese restaurant. The series also features a special guest appearance by her mother.
November 13 brings the heist drama "12 12 12." Each episode spans three distinct timelines. These include the 12 months of planning, the 12 hours of the heist, and the 12 days following the event. Anthony Mackie plays a disgraced FBI agent. Jamie Dornan plays an American career criminal. The two engage in a cat-and-mouse game across Europe. The plot centers on a raid of a bank vault located deep beneath the streets of Zurich.
Also arriving on November 13 is the drama film "Being Heumann." The story is based on true events set in 1977. Ruth Madeley plays Judy Heumann, a young disabled woman. She leads a coalition of outsiders in a protest. That protest becomes the longest occupation of a federal building in American history. Mark Ruffalo plays the bureaucrat opposing them. Siân Heder directs the film. She previously directed the Academy Award winner "CODA."
The lineup includes a family special titled "Snoopy Presents: 12 Days of Snoopy" on November 13. Snoopy ends up on Santa's naughty list. He has 12 days until Christmas to prove he is not a bad beagle. The story emphasizes that the holiday season is about more than gifts. The Peanuts children are on their best behavior throughout the special.
The month concludes on November 25 with "Way of the Warrior Kid." Jude Hill plays Marc, a middle schooler who faces bullying. Chris Pratt plays Marc's uncle Jake, a decorated Navy SEAL recovering from an injury. Jake develops a program called "Operation Warrior Kid" to teach Marc about real courage. Linda Cardellini plays Marc's mother. The film is based on a bestselling novel by former Navy SEAL Jocko Willink. McG directs the project from a screenplay by Will Staples. Existing series such as "Brothers" and "Small Prophets" will also release new episodes in early November.
